The Hungary numbers behind the argument over who deserves the credit. Lando Norris took pole by 0.012 seconds from Kimi Antonelli, then controlled the race for his first win as reigning world champion, and McLaren's first win of 2026. Oscar Piastri led at the start, was badly held up by a lapped Carlos Sainz, and later retired with a gearbox issue. Mercedes point to the gap between the two McLarens as evidence the upgrade was not the whole story. Andrea Stella says the step can be entirely ascribed to the new parts. πΈπ° via PlanetF1 #F1 #LandoNorris #McLaren #HungarianGP
